You're right, I didn't realize that... It says it's a 15.6" QHD (2560 x 1440) 240Hz 2ms with ComfortView Plus, NVIDIA G-SYNC and Advanced Optimus for the display. It's going to take a month to be delivered unfortunately but I can wait.
Definately BS because it was 0% claimed when I ordered. There was another model that had a QHD screen that said 30% claimed. I remember thinking wow no one jumped on this yet, I finally got one!
Lucky! I would jump into that one quickly and would prefer it over Legion 5 pro at that price
So I lost the 3% SD cashback, but gained a better machine and support.

I used Dell Financing for my order originally, and mentioned that on the call, so it could have played a part in the initial decision to price match. However, when I received the quote in email to verify the configuration and place the order, the page I was taken to allowed me to use any payment method; it wasn't restricted to DFS... meaning that at the point they decide to price match or not, they have no way of knowing or controlling what payment method(s) I ultimately use upon checkout.

But you used dell financial originally. I'd like to know if anyone didn't use dell financing that ended up getting the price match with the upgraded 1 tb laptop. That would be the ticket I would think. And I would love to speak with the representative that helped that person.
SD won't let me respond to your DM for 360 minutes. I did the Dell financing, and when they sent me the price match email it did allow me to select another payment method if that helps.... I still went with the Dell financing though, I didn't have any Amex offers.
I do. The only difference is a 3060 instead of a 3070. Most of the G-series share the same motherboard (as well as other internals) with the Alienware's as well as one or two Inspirons I believe.
The good news is, I swapped out the motherboard in mine today and it is now playing nicely with my SN850.
*If you are planning to use Gen4 NVME, be aware that only slot0 is Gen4 capable. Has no problems with the Gen4 SN850 (identical to the one in the first slot) that I have in there. It limits it to Gen3 speeds.*
Hey no problem. It's kind of a lost hope for me it appears. Haha

Would these be considered good deals with 10% Rak CB and the Capital One 12% Coupon?

I wasn't really comparing the X17 deal with the M15, which is now expired anyway. It was just something I noticed while I was browsing the Dell site earlier.
I haven't seen many posts regarding the Alienware X17 flagship model in general on SD. However, I was curious what others thought of the ~$2k price for the X17 after coupon, CB and taxes.
