Both CG washes say it doesn't strip off wax
I asked why didn't you use the jug of car soap on the shelf?
She replied " I've seen you do this a 100 times"
Ya when I want to strip the wax!!! She cursed and asked if I had wax
If you use it "as stated on the bottle", it will not ruin your wax job. If you double the concentration in the bucket, its now in wax stripper mode. Though im not even sure if that will strip modern synth waxes. For that you want purple power boat wash, since its not ph neutral.

Honestly I found Meguiars Gold Wash superior to chemical guys citrus wash and mr pink. CG felt very overhyped when I tried it out
I had a couple of gallons that I picked up and it took me forever to get done with just one gallon. I'd say it probably lasted me 3 seasons. Granted I mostly used the stuff on my garage queen and just went cheap with the drive thru car wash places on my daily driver.
Only problem I had with meguiars (that I bought from Costco) is that it would gum up my foam cannon. The CG soap really works well with a foam cannon. After I'd foam up my car, you couldn't tell what color it was as the larger was thick.
