My wife and I purchased this bike in October 2020 and heavily researching multiple other bikes and also seriously considering buying a Peloton. I'll save you the 25+ hours of research I put in to home stationary bikes - this thing is the absolute best bang for your buck available. I got ours at $900, so for $500 this is an absolutely amazing deal. We both have the Peloton digital membership which we pay $10 a month for (she gets the teacher discount, I get the firefighter discount). Otherwise, that subscription is $13 per month. The ability to bring your own tablet and switch workout providers is tremendous. We could cancel our Peltoon digital subscription next month and switch to any number of providers (Apple Fitness, Nautilus, etc.) with no hassle.
Just a heads up, Bowflex purchased Schwinn a couple years ago, so this bike is actually sold identically just with different stickers as either the Bowflex C9 or the Schwinn IC4. So you'll see the names interchanged, but the bike itself is identical.
A lot of the cheapie bikes are friction resistance, where as this one and the more expensive ones are magnetic resistance. Not to mention better build quality etc. Some of the cheap ones are really cheap plastic as you might expect. This one is going to be pretty sturdy and well built. It's pretty well reviewed as an alternative to Peloton if you don't need the screen or subscription. With this you can use an iPad or android tablet and use the cheaper Peloton app subscription ($13 vs $44) or iFit or YouTube or whatever you want
I'm very happy about this! When it went on sale at Best Buy a couple days ago, I asked my mom if she wanted one, and she said no cause she already had a treadmill. The day after the deal ends, her treadmill breaks! Now, we're both very happy, especially with the added 5% red card!
I bought a Bowflex C6 a few months ago. This is basically the same bike. I use the Pelaton app & a conversion chart for resistance. I'm really happy with it.
I got 5% with my Red Card, 5% for a Circle offer I signed up for a few days ago and 5% birthday bonus. All stacked without issue on two bikes. Now to decide if I should cancel the Best Buy delivery that is in a few hours, or keep it new in box and return to Best Buy once Target's arrives in case they are unable to fullfill.

If you want a good review from a trustworthy source, iMore did a solid review of this bike a few years ago: https://www.imore.com/bowflex-c6-...kill-level
