I ordered 3.

The description says "grounded outlet". How is this possible with only 2 prongs? I only plan to use this for 2-prong, low-power devices, but just curious if their definition of "ground" is different than my definition which requires a dedicated 3rd pin ground.

These are great for when all the outlets are taken by phone chargers at an airport or Starbucks and you need to charge multiple devices.

And at least one of them mentions it was plugged into a space heater. One thing to note is this is 16AWG wire that can only handle 13 Amps, not great gor use with something high current like a space heater. The extension can't handle the 15A or 20A that the in wall circuit is capable of. There is also reviews saying it's low quality, so that just makes an issue more likely regardless.

Absolutely correct. Compliant space heaters max out at 1500W / 13A, right on the limits for a 16AWG extension, and even then sustained load will cause it to overheat. Bad idea to ever use a space heater on an extension cord as the 13A is not for sustained load, rather peak load.

Speaking of 1500W limit of space heaters, a tip to everyone, ignore the room size ratings on the space heaters and just get the cheapest one that heats at 1500W. None will heat faster so don't waste your money. The 1500W limit is set by the 80% threshold for a 15A circuit that PpP5661 mentioned.

If you need faster heating for some reason and absolutely have to use space heaters and want more than one space heater then make damn sure you plug the 2nd one into a different circuit. Yes, 15 and 20A circuit breakers should flip when two 13A space heaters are running, but it's always better to do it right instead of relying on the protection working optimally (breakers could be faulty or get stuck, especially if they are older). Never use an extension cord, power strip, or splitter with a space heater.
