If you want a cheap firewood rack…. Three cinder blocks (the kind with two holes in them), a couple of 2x4s on each side to act as the side brace, and a few 6-8 foot pieces of 2x4 to keep the wood off of the ground. You then just stack the wood normally and there is your fast and cheap wood rack.

Where did they find a 600lb elephant?? But on a more serious note, this looks like its for indoor and covered spaces... looks like it'll easily rust and bow if you both must more than firewood on it. Seems ok, as long as you know what you're getting.... me... I'm good with a few 4x4s in the ground for support laid on tarp.

No, it wouldn't - and it would last a HELL of a lot longer than this will. Not to mention being able to get it exactly the size you want it.

What about the metal animal cutouts on the sides? how can i make those ? isn't that why you get this? For the bear cutouts on the sides. To have something pretty beside your chiminea.

I did this only I used landscaping timbers. They handle the outdoors pretty well and are also slightly thicker than a 2x4.

4 studs would be $27
3 cinder blocks would be $9

So that would be $36 which is more than this rack and would look ratchet.
