I have an older Galaxy Note 10, BestBuy is offering $450 for in-store trade-in. Unlocked 256 gb S22 is has reduced -100 price at $750

$750 + $50 tax - $450 (trade-in) = $350

Samsung has an elevated trade-in currently as well, but they are only offering $375 on my Note 10.

^^ Don't go buy the online trade in value. This is for INSTORE! When buy & trade in at the store, ask the rep to apply code "samsung" to the transaction and you'll receive the TIV in the first post's link. Note 10 is $450. This is for the UNLOCKED version, not carrier model

When I did this deal in-store, I watched the associate process it. After selecting the trade-in device and getting the trade-in value, they had to select the right promotion "Unlocked Samsung Flagship - $XXX Tier" and there it said to use the promo code "samsung" for the additional trade-in value.

Best buy is really making me work for this deal. Wife went to one location to close to closing so they wouldn't process the order, but knew of the promo and quoted the expected price. Went to two other stores and the front line employees all spoke matter of fact like to say no special in store tradein options exist. Each store had a whiteboard with listed tradein values, but the two stores had different values listed, and neither lined up with the higher values they list online. I realized after I left I forgot to specify unlocked trade in promo as I think the front line guy may have been focused on carrier promotions. I suspect had I ignored these front line employees and talked to the guy who actually processed orders I may have walked out with a phone but instead I trusted these guys word and walked out. Aiming back to the original location today to try again.

It really is, I am seriously questioning why I don't just do the samsung.com order that would come out to the same costs, with more storage for the Samsung order.

I like the idea of instant gratification and phone trade-in process vs waiting on delivery and then shipping back the old is the only reason I am still attempting the BB option.

I see $950 for the Ultra but only $750 N20U TIV for the Plus. I want to downgrade in size to the Plus. Kind of disapponting that it is actually better deal to buy the s22U

I got the T-Mobile s22 ultra for 150+tax after trading in the z flip 3 for 800 credit.I'm not really liking it so if I return it would they give me the whole 800 credit on gift card

Many of us have gone in store with no success. These best buy deals depend heavily on your luck and the people working there.

I was just able to do this. When they were setting up the trade in, they offered the standard $169 for my note 10. After i pointed out that there should be a trade in promo for unlocked Samsung phones, they looked around for a bit, figured it out, and gave the full $450 for the note 10. All of the local best buys were sold out everything other than the Ultra models, so they're shipping the S22 128gb to the house for $249 out the door.

Figured that's the highest the note 10 trade value will ever be, and four years of updates for the S22 means I'll be good for a long time. I'll miss the stylus, but the Ultra is just too big for my taste. I liked the Note 10's unique combination of small size and stylus. Didn't like the resulting battery life though...

Just show them their website which says instore trade in promotion details. They do struggle as what to enter when additional trade in promo code is required. If they cant figure out, suggest 'Samsung', and if they refuse, ask them to call bridge. They will advice the store reps to look into the latest promo sheets on their computer and their they will find 'Samsung' as the promo code to be applied. However mostly it depends on their willingness to help you. Ask for a supervisor/Manager and worst case go to another store.
