Anyone know if they are still making more Halo Infinite consoles?

More like scalpers don't want them anymore. The production finally caught up to demand and street prices have leveled out to MSRP.

Only true for the resellers/scalpers. They don't see any profit from this anymore so of course the "demand" isn't there for them.

The demand from us regular folk, the demand is still there.

You'd think that from a "pro" like you, you'd understand.

How can i get my wife to agree to buy this?
Get a 65" 4K TV with 120hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1. get a 4K version of Twilight to put in the Series X and have her sit down to watch it on date night. She won't say a bad thing...

All joking aside, this is a great buy. I have both Xbox Series X and PS5 and i play my Xbox the most. GamePass is a game changer and the best bang for buck entertainment subscription out there. If you don't have a PS5, you can get one later.

My thought is, get PS5 for exclusives only; get Xbox for everything else (1st and 3rd Party games). Microsoft has done a phenomenal job with backwards compatibility on games, blowing Sony out of the water.

Trading in my Xbone X at Gamestop for $247, buying Xbox gift cards with the proceeds, making up the difference with discounted Xbox GCs from Raise & a $27 Chase offer, then clicking through to the MS Store from a special unnamed site seemed to do the trick for me. She said my plan sounded overly complicated, but if my final price was under $200 she'd sign off on it. Mission accomplished.

YMMV (Your marriage may vary)

Sounds, kinda messed up, but if you can hold out until black Friday, we may see a real discount on these.

Unlikely. Inflation is still a thing. Microsoft won't be discounting them. What I think will happen is they'll stop selling this version and release special editions at this price or higher to keep the revenue

Seems unlikely but will see, Microsoft is just now getting a healthy amount of stock out to retailers, which are flying off the shelf.

Scalpers can no longer get double the value, PS5 is still doing well for them though…..

Hmm this is tempting, I do have the Amex offer so that + the Bee cashback would make this $375. I wonder how much I could get for my Xbox 360 S Arcade on the used market?

Edit: pulled the trigger, worst case scenario I can always just sell it and get my money back if I change my mind!

I have 8,000 unused MS Xbox live points card from the 360 era that I'd forgot about since switching to PS4 and now PS5. I guess they're no longer good I can't figure out how to redeem them.
To cash in the card go to: https://redeem.microsoft.com/

If you cashed in the card long ago, you just need to log into your old profile on there to see your balance.

I don't want to sound like a jerk but I actually am looking for one to go on sale....not sure when or if that'll ever happen?
If you want it sooner rather than later (likely much, much later), I would look into buying Xbox GCs at a discount (can get for ~20% off pretty regularly) and then use that to buy it directly through Xbox like this.

Mine as well try and purchase a unicorn at this point
Hey fyi, the term you are looking for is "might as well", as in "I might as well just buy an Xbox since the PS5 has been so elusive!"

One guy on here always typed "minus well", so don't feel too bad, easy mistake to make.

Except for load times on Elden Ring... XSX takes almost 3 times longer to load than the PS5 OMG
