Thanks for post this deal, they dropped to $99, for new, not renewed. Now dead. Winner, Winner... thumbs up to OP! Seems that the store is doing updates. Check frequently.

I am thinking of getting one but read that they are not good for big heads. Does anyone have experience with this headset being a tad small?

I had the RGB ones and those are unbearable, the XT ones are a bit bigger, but the ear cups are still very small, but you can change them for thicker ones. I bought these XTs two months ago, I haven't had any problems so far. But, it comes in a different box, and doesn't come with the travel bag.

That is a pretty good wireless headset if you need a wireless. If being wired isn't a problem then I always go for Philips SHP9500 for used about half as cheap on Amazon and it would be better than this Corsair one in every way minus wireless features and built-in mic.

I have this set, and yes they have a very limited range of size adjustments. I've never had a set of headphones that were too small for my head but these are at the very edge of acceptable. Granted, I put aftermarket ear pads on them which makes the problem a little bit worse but even with the stock pads I have both arms fully extended and it takes some adjusting to get them settled comfortably over my ears.

It's a good headset, I've learned to live with the tight fit, but if you suspect your head is even a tiny bit large be prepared for these to disappoint you.

I have the virtuoso se, got it recently, the top part of the headset is what seems to give me a headache… I also happen to have small ears. It's pretty sad not sure I can fix it Frown

These are the worst headphones I've ever used. I paid $179 and returned them, and feel even at $100 it is overpriced. The most critical issue with these is they are extremely uncomfortable. The ear cups are too small to fit over a normal adult sized ear, and due to the high clamping pressure that means you start to experience ear pain within 30 minutes or sooner after putting them on. The padding on the headband is also a joke and feels like someone is pushing plastic into the top of your head after a few minutes.

Somehow if you are able to ignore all the comfort issues, the sound quality is also horrible. Everything sounds extremely muffled and weak on these. There is extreme noticeable distortion if you listen to anything with any amount of bass. Normally you could count some of this up to a bluetooth / wireless 2.4 dongle connection, but it is just as bad in usb wired mode. Corsair's software to control these is also horribly buggy and half the time doesn't detect the headphones correctly and the mic can't be unmuted or muted properly. These things are literally the worst headphones i've ever purchased.

I ended up picking up a set of hyperx alpha s headphones that were at the time $74 dollars cheaper than the virtuso headphones, and also sound so much better and can actually be worn for extended amounts of time without my head or ears hurting.

Not knowing much about headphones, what are some of its competitors, that can connect to most devices. My usage will be with Android phones on Bluetooth, Sony Android TV on Bluetooth, Xbox Series X, PS5, Windows PCs, etc.

Please, and thank you.

No, but I can tell you they would be terrible. They are on the heavy side and have a low clamping force, they would fall off your head with even slight movement.

Why in world would you work out with over-ear headphones?
