How does this compare to bikes like RAD, Aventon or Jetson Pro? I know little about these but I want to get one for my father for him to ride around the burbs
ride1up, RAD, Aventon all make better bikes with better components than this one. I don't know anything about Jetson so can't speak on that. I would pay the extra money and go with a way better quality bike from a different company. I'm looking to purchase a ride1up 500 series in the coming weeks.

There is paying a little extra money, and then there is paying double or triple. The question here should be is there anything comparable around this price range. I could also buy a Rolls Royce instead of a Toyota but that's not the point.

it is a good bike. I got this one though https://www.walmart.com/ip/GOTRAX.../252868211

I do not think you can beat the specs for 650. long term I do not know how it will hold up. but gets me to and from work easily I charge it every few days, very fast on the highest setting.
should pay for itself in 3 months of ownership saving gas, parking and tickets :-)

I was eyeing the 29" Hyper until you posted this one. Don't know much about bikes and ebikes. Anyone compare the 2? Or others in this price range?

I want something like this only with carbon belt and smaller tires. 26 or 27, not sure what's out there now.

Many have no idea they are obese. How can you know when everyone around you is a pig, everyone eats 3-4 times the appropriate sugar level daily (why is everything sold at stores so sweet?!?), and they laught at the normal bodies (per BMI) as being "skinny".
Why are our schools feeding kids junk food and drinks?
Why do you spent more on health care than food?
F-ed up society.
And doctors won't tell you to lose weight, because that would be insensitive.

Lots of comments blaming obesity on others, but I'm more curious about whether anyone has feedback on this model for the price. I would love to get into one of these for my gf and I, but if it's not a great deal, I'll wait or spend a little more, you know? No worries, I'll rationalize the purchase one way or another, this is slickdeals, after all 😂.

Thread is a little shilly.

There seems to be NO SPECS for components on this bike so you can assume they are bottom of the barrel and only 10Ah battery, only 6 month warranty
Best quality ebike, wow great value fast shipping.

Walmart sells Hyper brand e-bikes. They can sometimes be found on sale for $400. But you're right, this bike's motor is twice as powerful, and the bike comes with integrated lights and disk brakes, which the lower priced Hyper ones don't have.
Yeah those Walmart ones are pedal assist only. Almost jumped on them until I saw that.

I got a miclon from Amazon and I absolutely love it. Very sleek, very sturdy and 3 hr charge time on battery.

I want an ebike so that I can ride to work. it's like a 6 mile ride each way, not bad but very hilly and i'd be sweaty as heck when I get there, which isn't ok. I figured with this i can take it super easy on the way there and then just not engage the motor for the ride home. At least I'd be getting exercise that way.

yet another po box company with jjust a phone number and email. These ebikes have a dismal rep due to here today, gone tomorrow. The hype on their page is over the top. If I was ever to buy something/anything similar, I would want to be able to return it to the store or at least purchase from a vendor that has a solid return reputation like Amazon, WM, Dicks, etc. Much more difficult for them to to deny a claim with you there with the item at their store. Another issue is the no name components they are using. Who's wheelset, brakes, etc?

Which one did you get, I was looking at them tonight, any recommendations or issues?

I have the Jetson Bolt Pro ($329 at Costco) and I love it for riding around the neighborhood, and for throwing it into the trunk to take for an informal ride. I added a seat rack and panniers so I can easily carry things in the back, along with a bottle holder.

I had to buy a longer seat post (a 450mm one from Amazon for about $23), because the one on the bike could not go high enough for me to pedal comfortably. Its max speed of 15mph is comfortable and about what you would average if biking by yourself without benefit of a motor. You could sprint faster than that by pedaling but for leisurely riding, 15mph is fine.

If your father is used to riding a regular bike, I would recommend the larger bikes because the larger wheels will provide more stability -- the Jetson Bolt Pro's smaller 14" wheels will be more squirrelly.
