Amex Offers Spend $50 or more, get $25 back. Up to 3 times (total of $75). Google Fi - Mobile Phone Plan
YMMV- May be for select account.
OFFER TERMS
Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid for Google Fi purchases only. Valid online only at fi.google.com and app via Android devices only. Valid only on purchases made in US Dollars. Excludes all other Google products and services. Please note if you purchase a subscription, unless you notify the merchant that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that the merchant will collect the then-applicable subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card the merchant has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. American Express identifies qualifying transactions based on information provided by the participating merchant. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 3 statement credits (total of $75 back) per Card Member. You may not receive the statement credit if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as qualifying for the offer. For example, you may not receive the statement credit if (a) the merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or (b) the merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or (c) you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet. Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 9/2/2022, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items/services from your qualifying purchase have been shipped/provided by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your purchase as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. Limit 1 enrolled Card per American Express Card online account. The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive statement credits. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Amex Offers are dynamic and personalized, so the offers you see may change. For questions regarding your Card Account, please call the number on the back of your Card. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. POID: K3HS:0001

Go to pay.google.com.

On your active Google Fi service, click Manage and then Pay early.
I just did it and have not received an Amex notification... though with these types of deals I typically do not. Can't say 100% sure if it works, I'll update if I see a credit.
I can't tell if the deal counts the service charge or just specifically ordering multiple phones... which I did a week ago before this offer
Update:
Fi Prepay works perfectly, I was credited today. Incredible deal.

Were you not seeing this offer before on amex?
Yes. Amex only displays up to 100 offers. When you add offers to your card, the ones not displayed at the bottom come up.
Hey, I already pay my Google Fi bill with my Amex Blue Cash Preferred card (which incidentally thinks it's a Streaming service for 6% cash back), and the charge is shows as Google Services.
See the attached screenshot.
FYI - my Google FI monthly services show up as "GOOGLE*FI " by merchant "Google Services (650) 253-0000" .
Interestingly, I already get 6% cash back because Amex weirdly thinks this is a streaming service e.g. Netflix or HBO Max.
one offer per actual person.
Here's the offer verbiage:
"Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. "
Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 9/2/2022
(I read this as you won't see credit until December, 2022 -- even though you will see notifications that you qualify)
Get a $25 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $50 in one or more purchases online at fi.google.com by 9/2/2022
Offer valid for Google Fi purchases only. Valid online only at fi.google.com and app via Android devices only.
I read this as do your purchases on the browser pointed at fi.google.com -- and don't use iPhone to make the purchase
Excludes all other Google products and services.
Good luck everyone.
I will transfer my number to Google FI to receive S22 promotion and to use this AMEX offer.
Which phone has a better value, S22 for $299 vs Pixel 6 for $399?
I just use a phone daily normal use. Both phones are overkill for my usage.
So I want to choose by the value of the phone.
I prefer Google and NEXUS series, but S22' $500 discount gives a better value.
Any idea?

I was thinking the same thing. I'm leaning towards pixel 6 pro because I don't upgrade my phone annually (so might as well get the best) and I don't like bloat ware
GOOGLE *Google Fi 650-253-0000 CA 94043 USA
Before it posts both showed up as Google Services.
Safe to assume the pre-pay will credit the account, but I guess we won't know for sure until it does.
Thanks. I'm probably doing this deal in conjunction with the pixel new customer deal
Am I missing something or do others agree ?

I am not saying whether phone purchase will trigger Amex offer or not. That is a separate discussion. But let's assume best case scenario it does trigger. My point is even then you are getting effectively $25 off max on the device. The rest of the $50 early payments will basically be sitting in your Fi account as credit balance and the only way you can use them is by staying longer with Fi so that Fi monthly bills get adjusted against the credit balance until you are at zero credit balance. Hence the statement you will end up with a bunch of months with free Fi service which most of us don't need. This is assuming you are having a single Fi line and signing up solely to get a device at the Fi discounted price. If you are already on Fi and planning to stay anyways then it's a different story.
