Amex Offers Spend $50 or more, get $25 back. Up to 3 times (total of $75). Google Fi - Mobile Phone Plan
YMMV- May be for select account.
OFFER TERMS
Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid for Google Fi purchases only. Valid online only at fi.google.com and app via Android devices only. Valid only on purchases made in US Dollars. Excludes all other Google products and services. Please note if you purchase a subscription, unless you notify the merchant that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that the merchant will collect the then-applicable subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card the merchant has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. American Express identifies qualifying transactions based on information provided by the participating merchant. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 3 statement credits (total of $75 back) per Card Member. You may not receive the statement credit if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as qualifying for the offer. For example, you may not receive the statement credit if (a) the merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or (b) the merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or (c) you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet. Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 9/2/2022, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items/services from your qualifying purchase have been shipped/provided by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your purchase as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. Limit 1 enrolled Card per American Express Card online account. The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive statement credits. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Amex Offers are dynamic and personalized, so the offers you see may change. For questions regarding your Card Account, please call the number on the back of your Card. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. POID: K3HS:0001

Add 100+. Literally added 111 offers for Google Fi and Dell to FINALLY show up. I was never even aware of this "hack", I always just assumed if you look and it's not on there you weren't targeted, but sure enough, adding a ton of offers leaves room for new offers to appear. I just about gave up after adding 80, but tried over 100 and finally it appeared!!
To make an early payment:

Go to pay.google.com.
Click Subscriptions & services.
On your active Google Fi service, click Manage and then Pay early.

I just did it and have not received an Amex notification... though with these types of deals I typically do not. Can't say 100% sure if it works, I'll update if I see a credit.

I can't tell if the deal counts the service charge or just specifically ordering multiple phones... which I did a week ago before this offer Frown

Update:
Fi Prepay works perfectly, I was credited today. Incredible deal.
I had to add about 20 offers to finally see it. I'm not understanding why Amex can't fix this in 2022.

I am not saying whether phone purchase will trigger Amex offer or not. That is a separate discussion. But let's assume best case scenario it does trigger. My point is even then you are getting effectively $25 off max on the device. The rest of the $50 early payments will basically be sitting in your Fi account as credit balance and the only way you can use them is by staying longer with Fi so that Fi monthly bills get adjusted against the credit balance until you are at zero credit balance. Hence the statement you will end up with a bunch of months with free Fi service which most of us don't need. This is assuming you are having a single Fi line and signing up solely to get a device at the Fi discounted price. If you are already on Fi and planning to stay anyways then it's a different story.
If it works on a phone payment plan then why couldn't you make multiple payments with cards that have the deal? Each card can be used three times for the offer and some of us have multiple cards with the deal.

Making multiple payments is fine and i also have the offer on 2 cards. Just trying to find how best to utilize the payments. The goal is to direct most of the additional payments toward the device right ? If you are getting a device on a payment plan (meaning you are financing it, sacrificing a hard pull) does Fi allow you to allocate your payment to device only ? I would be surprised if it allowed you do that. Most likely not as it will give you a combined bill with charges for your device financing installment and the monthly service charge. So what happens after 4 months of Fi service if you want to leave Fi ?
Also if you try to buy a device by financing does Fi allow you to choose the installment term or is it fixed at 24 monthly payments. I am just trying to find the best way and wanted to provide the clarity that there is more to this than meets the eye.

I placed an order yesterday, the transaction is still pending, showing as "GOOGLE SERVICE" -- should it be "Fi" or is it OK?

When you're in Available Offers, click on the Services category and add all of those offers, come back to it and see if it appeared.

I and some coworkers do.

I have two iPhones on it. Easy setup. You just have update the Cellular Data Network in the Settings (they provide the easy instructions in the SIM kit), which takes like 2 min. iMessages, texts, MMS all work perfectly fine after you do this.

No good way. I previously wrote a python script to do it automatically, but after they only allow one offer per account, and change the ui, it does not work any more.

I would argue this is a feature that Amex wants you to read the deals.

Thank you, I just tried $50 :-)

And yes you can buy the S22 but not at 50% off but rather $75 off from the 3 payment of $50 or more...

Buy Samsung S22 at half price?
Can fi credit be used to buy a device? If yes, then S22 may be bought at half price.
I found google fi can be prepaid using the following link by clicking "Pay early"

It should be Fi. Phone purchases and prepaying aren't likely going to trigger the offer based on DoC reports.

I did go through the order via fi.google.com. The credit card was added to my Google payment before, so I am wondering I was actually paying with Google Pay instead of credit card directly.

Their charges are just coded weirdly. I bought my phone from them last month with my Amex and it was also Google Services.

Then for prepayments, people are reporting it's Google Google Fi, which doesn't get credit.

Good luck everyone.
Frankly if I followed word by word s on any AMEX OFFER T&C I would have missed out at least $1000 cashback on AT&T, VERIZON and other Amex offers... LMAO
