Amex Offers Spend $50 or more, get $25 back. Up to 3 times (total of $75). Google Fi - Mobile Phone Plan
YMMV- May be for select account.
OFFER TERMS
Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid for Google Fi purchases only. Valid online only at fi.google.com and app via Android devices only. Valid only on purchases made in US Dollars. Excludes all other Google products and services. Please note if you purchase a subscription, unless you notify the merchant that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that the merchant will collect the then-applicable subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card the merchant has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. American Express identifies qualifying transactions based on information provided by the participating merchant. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 3 statement credits (total of $75 back) per Card Member. You may not receive the statement credit if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as qualifying for the offer. For example, you may not receive the statement credit if (a) the merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or (b) the merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or (c) you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet. Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 9/2/2022, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items/services from your qualifying purchase have been shipped/provided by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your purchase as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. Limit 1 enrolled Card per American Express Card online account. The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive statement credits. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Amex Offers are dynamic and personalized, so the offers you see may change. For questions regarding your Card Account, please call the number on the back of your Card. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. POID: K3HS:0001

I just did it and have not received an Amex notification... though with these types of deals I typically do not. Can't say 100% sure if it works, I'll update if I see a credit.
I can't tell if the deal counts the service charge or just specifically ordering multiple phones... which I did a week ago before this offer
Update:
Fi Prepay works perfectly, I was credited today. Incredible deal.

I'm trying to see if I split my device payments over 4 months & leave fi after I got amex cash back.
I am not using Amex offer but got some employer mobile credits that can be used so I prepaid into Fi every month to pay for the phone.
One note is that their customer service is friendly, but mostly ineffective. I've had to call 4 times for a warranty replacement on a phone that I purchased through them because the shipping side can't talk to the customer service side.
Support calls you back quickly but are unable to fix anything and sometimes give incorrect information. Tier 2 support is email only and in my experience they don't always answer.

An update to my warranty issue. They never shipped the replacement. I had to cancel it. They certainly replied quickly to the cancelation request, but ignored all other emails. Their shipping team is the actual worst.
And yes you can buy the S22 but not at 50% off but rather $75 off from the 3 payment of $50 or more...
Prepay $1500 to the account use my link. Then use the prepaid credit to buy several devices. That saves $750
BTW: Amex allow 99 additional cards, so 10 Amex offers is not that hard.

So, will not expect Google Store purchase to be considered as Fi purchases.
Then for prepayments, people are reporting it's Google Google Fi, which doesn't get credit.
Did your phone purchase last month pend as 'Google Services' then change to something else?
GOOGLE *Google Fi 650-253-0000 CA 94043 USA
Before it posts both showed up as Google Services.
Safe to assume the pre-pay will credit the account, but I guess we won't know for sure until it does.
Ideally, as someone posted earlier, getting the S22 would work something like this:
- $300 for phone, get $25 AmEx credit
- 2x $50 prepays, 2x $25 AmEx credits
$100 prepay total would cover 4 months at $20/mo plus taxes & fees.
...
I think the "excludes all other Google products and services" clause in the T&C is throwing people off. Google likely uses the "Google services" for most or all pending transactions across their platforms. Once the transactions post they include specific coding, such as Fi prepay posting with 'Google Fi' in the description.
As for shipping, Fedex lost my phone in transit and I asked them for the replacement. After they confirmed the phone is lost with Fedex. They resent my phone using next day delivery, got it the next day. Not sure what happen to you.

I purchased the phone as an upgrade through Fi. I called about a couple issues with two accounts and mentioned the issues with my S22 plus. They pretty quickly determined that it was a warranty issue and offered to replace it. However, that never actually materialized. It sat in preparing for shipment for over two weeks with not a word or reply from the shipping team.
If the phone purchase posts as 'Google Fi' isn't that exactly what would trigger the AmEx offer?
So far it seems phone purchases from Fi will count for the AmEx credit -

Yes that was the person I was referring to. He seemed pretty confident but if that's his reasoning, then it doesn't hold water. One of the newest comments says postpay even is coded as Google Google Fi.
It looks like the following plan should work:
- 2x $50 prepays, 2x $25 AmEx credits
$100 prepay total would cover 4 months at $20/mo plus taxes & fees.

How do you prepay the device installment amounts? Can we pretty much decide how much to prepay each time?
https://pay.google.com/gp/w/u/0/h...ndservices
and you should see an option to pay early
The device payment is part of the bill so what ever balance you prepay will be deducted from the credit as a whole..
Also you can make multiple pre payments then end the installment early, whatever balance left on installment will be added to your next Fi bill and this will deduct from the credit from your account
