It's the way of the world now. When it works, though, it's helping those of us on the diets. While I agree there is a lot of bad products and over usage of the marketing tactics (and the millions of people doing the diets incorrectly) the options available today are way better than they have ever been in the past for someone to succeed. I lost 75 lbs doing keto and am still basically living that lifestyle, so seeing items pushed or marked for it can be nice.

I can't wait for the standard American diet to die out. So much processed mess are making us obese.

Only had slimfast keto products before. I think they (slimketo and the ones posted) should be rather similar.

The pb cups from quest pack more protein per serving. I like the taste and don't find them that sweet despite having a higher amount of erythritol.

As for slimfast keto fat bombs - tried many flavors, sweetness wise it's all over the place and (I personally think) they taste more artificial. I have been purchasing quest products almost exclusively for a while (unless there are deals on other products too good to resist)

Fat bomb = high in fat low in protein. There's a lot of cheaper (and arguably better) sources of fat.

Such as?

This kills two birds with one stone: fat intake and sweet tooth.

Label says 6g total carbs with 3g of fiber and 2g of erythritol. Compute net carbs however you typically count.

For me, that's 1g net carbs. I don't count fibers or sugar alcohols in my carb count.

If you are into savory stuff - pork rinds, cheese (Sam's club sells 0 carb parmesan cheese crisps)
Can also consider unsweetened coconut (sold in shredded form / chunks) and dark chocolate. (Lily's are rather expensive but they do go on sale)
Or just add MCT oil / coconut oil to your coffee etc

Whiny post so apologies in advance for that haha, but still feel compelled to say I do find it frustrating that so many of the most affordable and tasty-looking keto snack products for when you want some variety and/or could find it useful to be able to grab-and-go contain peanuts. And milk products. As someone who truly must avoid both. 😩

I can't wait for marketing to die out. While we're on the topic of keto and/or no carb. Do a read/listen to "the diabetes code".
