You didn't understand. I'm not suggesting buying any PSU. I'm suggesting that there are likely exactly identical PSUs available on eBay. If you want to buy new and pay $130 fine, but other buyers may prefer to get a good used one off ebay instead of buying one from Acer for $130.
I'm big time against any proprietary components at all, but if my grandma needed a PC and I'd didn't have one to give, I get these systems.
Yes, it's a good choice for that.

I've shifted to laptop-only recommendations for my parents. They use them more AND they bring them when they visit, so I get to update/fix them.

I think this is a great deal but do have a word of caution. I have a similar unit (Acer TC-895-UA91) and the power supply unit is currently failing just outside the 1 yr warranty period. It's a "wave of the future" PSU (12VO) and Acer wants $130 for a replacement. So expensive, non-standard dimensions and frequently sold out. I should add it seems like the fan never shuts up during simple browsing.

Seems like a pretty solid PC, 11th gen i5, SSD and 8gb ram. It's more than enough for general purpose such as surfing and YouTube. Has HDMI but no 3090TI tho

Probably could buy a scrap PSU off eBay for $30.

This isn't an ATX case, so most power supplies won't fit.

Plus, you really don't want a junk PSU on your system, they're the cause of many computer reliability issues.

This machine (at least mine) uses a Lite-On 80+ Bronze 300W PSU

The CPU fan is the biggest "problem" with this machine. It vibrates like crazy when it speeds up even a little. Though some people may not notice or care.

Oh. Okay, if you've already got one and your PSU died, then that's a good option. Yep.

I'm kind of against this PC because I prefer ATX, or at least non-mini cases that can fit full expansion PCI-e cards.
