I shared this with my nurse mother. She said she always signs up for this but has never gotten a free pair. I guess the chance isn't very high?

They offered this a couple of years ago. Tens of thousands of people pretending to be healthcare workers flooded their servers. Good deal in theory but poorly executed.

Why or why does it ask for a payment instrument before signing up?

When I used to work overnights on a slower unit I would wear crocs (but with a more modern style). They are incredibly comfy, but I wouldn't dream of using it now since I've been on a crazy busy unit for several years now and I don't have time to pee let alone take my shoes off while charting on my break time anymore

They make you put in credit card info for the drawing and says they won't charge you if you win. Then why you need it for ? No thanks
