Really nice CONTENT CREATOR laptop. I mean it can definitely "game", but not the primary intention. You'll have more fps available with an external monitor.
Drool. Btw This has two DIMM slots (this XE4 model supports DDR4; there's an XE5 model of the same notebook that supports DDR5) and two NVMe slots. Tom's Hardware posted a review just in the past day:
Drool. Btw This has two DIMM slots (DDR4 and DDR5 supported, I believe the 2x8GB DIMMs on this SKU are DDR4) and two NVMe slots. Tom's Hardware posted a review just in the past day:
DDR5 is not supported along with DDR4, it's either of them. Gigabyte has XE4 and XE5 for their Aero and Aorus series laptops, with the 1st one signifies DDR4 implementation and XE5 signifies DDR5 implementation. The XE5 version of this is pretty costly as of now.
I have the last gen aero. This new aero 16 has the macbook looking chassis. while the older ones have the black chassis and a slight gamer laptop aesthetic. The exhaust/intake air vents on the newer one don't look good for cooling, as they are going for the look rather than function. Also, they got rid of all the other ports and only have usb ports. You have to use the dongle to get network/hdmi etc... Big negative in my opinion. Also has the newest 16" amoled samsung screens, which have higher brightness and refresh rate than the older 15.6" ones. The new aero 5 version looks more like the older aeros, but its quite a bit thick and heftier, closer to aoruses.

Ah, my bad. Thanks for the correction. I'll update my post. The MobileTechReview video I posted said their review unit supported both but without indicating there's a separate model for the DDR5.

Postception…
Lol! Didn't knew that it was already posted. I posted it as a new deal, but looks like it showed up as a comment here 😂
As the reviews say, it's only for light gaming at best. Unfortunate, since it seemed like it really had potential.
