Best buy has gigabyte 16" 4K OLED with 3070ti and 12th gen Intel i7, 1tb gen4 m.2 and 16gb ram. The only drawbacks are screen is only 60hz (which isn't surprising given it's OLED 4k), ddr4 ram (negligible impact), and I'm unsure of ram upgradeability (16gb is plenty for most people). Originally $2350.

I have a Razer 15 3070, MBP16 i9, MBP16 M1 Pro, Asus G14, G15, and M16 and owned several laptops as a hobby... The Build quality on this is very good. Maybe just a notch below Razer but par or better than Asus.
Screen is to absolutely die for, content looks amazing. It's really the whole point of this machine. It's a unique 16:10 4k OLED that blows me away. Will play COD MWII at 60fps on most settings High at 4k with DLSS. 60hz is fine at 4k because most games this year won't run much faster than that at 4k on high settings.
Very easy to upgrade the RAM and there's 2 NVME slots. Wish it had at least 1 USB-A but whatever, it comes with a very nice port adapter. The speakers are pretty meh but no PC comes close to Apple on speakers for some reason.
I flashed mine from 105w to 130w on the GPU, works perfect without even a repaste.

With the reflash do you get upper figures for a 3070ti?
Also, are you familiar with aero 17 mini-led version? Same cpu and gpu, just larger chassis, 120hz display and 16:9 aspect ratio, not sure if it is also glossy. $300 more. I like the miniled since worried about burnin.
Also worried about gigabyte reliability longterm. Heard their tech support is bad too.

Last night I bought an open box excellent Asus Rog Zephyrus M16 for $1230 from Best Buy after spending most of the day looking at video reviews of this Aero 16, the Asus 16 that I bought, the Legion 5i, the Asus Rog Zephyrus 14 (which was on sale for $1299) and a couple of others. Before looking at all of the reviews this Aero 16 was the top candidate due to the impressive specs but the reviews were mostly mediocre and seemed to say it was more for creators than gamers. Also for me the weight was a factor . All of these units have detractors and issues — heat was a big one for the Asus M16 — but no reviewer seemed enthusiastic about this Aero 16 despite its impressive specs.

Check your Windows Min cpu utilization is 1% on battery.
Make sure you're using the integrated GPU not the discrete GPU on battery.

I don't know if there is a way to edit that in the title so people don't freak out
