But, then text messages randomly stopped appearing, and down the rabbit hole of TERRIBLE tech support that never responded to messages, never called back, never figured it out. So, I had to change to another MVNO. Then, Red Pocket said they couldn't remove the carrier lock on my iPhone - a total lie - until I went to the BBB. Then, suddenly they learned how. Of course, I was without that phone for weeks until the magical epiphany.
Just do yourself a favor and avoid these clowns. There are many other, much better, choices.
However, if the plans are not the same, then the existing plan will be forfeited.

In the past 2 weeks, my MMS texts stopped working.
Called RP.
What a joke.
Anyone figure out what the issue is or how to fix it?
I bought the $60/year sim card from ebay a couple months back. activated online with no issue, but i got no service. Tried multiple phones: moto g7, iphone 6plus and samsung S9. same issue - no service/bar at all. I have the GSMA. Tried email the CS.. was referref back to online. chat doesn't help. Call CS, the moment I aske for help, they hang up.
Anyone experience this before?

My recommendation is to try 1 month before I commit to 1 year.
I have one line that is CDMA-sprint. T mobile bought Sprint so CDMA - Sprint will not work. I still need to figure how to deal with this thru RP. I had chat one time and after two hours of trial and error, they simply just gave up on me. Will need to try again with RP support.
Not 365 days....
I live in North New Jersey which can be a busy area but never had these issues with RP CDMA.

Its a good deal for me because I have 7 lines. You can have a maximum of 10. Its much better service when dealing directly with them versus going through a reseller.

I also reported a security glitch on their site where an authenticated user could gain account details including IMEI and phone number of other users and spent hours trying to convince them that this was an issue they should fix. They were convinced that since you had to be logged in to view others users info it wasn't a serious concern.
They likely flagged you for "abusing" SMS/MMS. You can ask support to get it restored but it will likely get shut off the next day since their algorithm looks at usage for the month.
You can find other mentions of this on slickdeals forums and throughout the web.

In our area ATT is so much faster than TMobile or Verizon so I would stack up if they didn't have the 90 Activation restriction. One note : Redpocket loves to change your annual renewal date. The system glitches and it happened 4 times last year where they shortened it by a few weeks. Fixed it and they system changed it again so take a pic of your account summary page to ensure you get your full 360 days of service.
