Can anyone share their experience buying Legos from Zavi? I'm most concerned that Lego boxes will not be packaged/shipped properly and arrive damaged.

I am buying from them for almost 6 months. 90% of boxes are not damage. If box came damaged, they will give you a discount for it (10-30%). And keep in mind: This website from overseas, a credit card charge fee for international transaction

I've ordered from Zavvi many times with no issues. I have never paid an international fee on my Chase CC.

You would have to check your card holder agreement (I would just call the number on the back of the card and ask). Remember having brand "x" doesn't mean that you don't have those fees. Every company has multiple different cards, all with different perks and features.

Zavvi isn't worth the headache. I've purchased a set in the past and it took several emails as well as like 3 months to get the set. Others have had the same experience on here.

Zavvi has a US website, and the prices are in USD. I have never paid a credit card fee. 20+ orders from them.

My two lego sets I've bought from them came perfect. But I had ordering issues and had to contact support for each (different issues on each set). One set was a whole ordeal that was too complicated for me to try to write out. The other set was for the UCS Millennium Falcon: it went on a "flash" sale for a day at $700 and the very next day it went on regular sale for $650. In the end I got my first set ordered and got my $50 refund on the MF, but it was just awful dealing with their support. Between my experiences and those posted by others, I hesitate to buy from them again unless the deal is considerably better than I could get from somewhere else
