Samsclub tires is always understaffed. They hardly have 2-3 people working in the tire dept. This means you have to wait a long time to get your car serviced (be it installation or rotation). Many times there is no one at the desk to answer your calls or even talk to you if you walk in to the store.

I just had some installed last week. Scheduled ahead, they started on time, and took about an hour. Guess it's ymmv for installation.

Agree with the rest of the comments here. Sams sucks managing tire center. Understaffed and very tough to get an appointment.

Our experience is different than other comments here. Thought I'd share.

Recently we urgently needed battery change. I called to enquire about it. The person listened patiently to my absolutely no clue talk and guided me thru what exactly I need and told me the price and asked me to come in any time. I told him I'd be coming over the same day. I got a call back in 20 minutes even though I hadn't left a number or membership details. He was anxious if I was already on the way. I was not. He told me the specific battery I need is out of stock and to check back again and that he is sorry. I was told the truck comes every Monday (the day we were talking was a sunday). And he asked me to check after 1 hour of opening as by then they'd have opened up the stock delivered. I called, got a confirmation they got my battery, went there and got it changed in half an hour easy peasy. Shopped for groceries while they were working on the battery. Cheapest and best specs battery with best warranty. Can't beat that. Thanks Sam's.

I guess I lucked out. Scheduled installation ahead of time online and entire process took about 70 minutes from arrival to exit. Was told it would be about an hour so 10 minuets extra not an issue for me. Very happy with their service. Lifetime rotation, balancing and road hazard. Saved over $100 from cheapest competitor. Even gave them a chance to price match and they said they couldn't come close.

I have only bought tires from sam's for the last 25 years or so, I have had zero issues. Our local store seems to keep about 4-5 people there at all times. When there is a sale like this, they do get busy and it can take a week or so to get on their schedule, but beyond that, I haven't had any issues. They will fix tires for free too, even if the tires weren't from there, and the few times I have stopped randomly for a leaky tire, they typically get it fixed within an hour or maybe two on busy days.

Shoot...I just bought the tires online to be picked up at the store. Is there a way to schedule my installation online or do I just call? So if they can't get me in before the 11th, do they not honor the price? When I ordered online, it says I won't be charged until pickup 🤷 ♀️
