Inferior is subjective as both has its own advantage vs disadvantages in absorbtions.
Based on the extra strength version of this, serving size of the extra strength is 2 gummed (for 3000mg dose). That means serving size of the regular strength is 6 gummies (in order to get 3000mg). The extra strength is a cheaper deal based on mg.
