Paying more for the MB then CPU is just kinda meh on principle.This 12400 is constantly on sale in this price range lately. You ain't going to realistically be "missing out" passing this one over. I'd be waiting to find a better sale on any of the MSI brand BB660 mb really.

So yeah, still more debatable then it could be given all the recent sales on AMD's 5600 series and the much easier time you'll have pairing that with a good quality and cheaper MB (assuming you would even need one going that route, of course)
