This is the best Tv you can buy in 50" in fact, other than oled its probably the best tv period.

Every tv manufacturer has similar technology that allows them to advertise 120hz refresh when in actuality its a 60hz native panel that is being boosted to appear like its 120hz. However this model q90a has a native 120hz panel and this has been confirmed by every test/Review.

Deal is still on. Exp. date keeps getting extended.

Debating between getting this one vs TCL r646 for the bedroom. I know, I know lol...may be apples vs oranges between the brands but the TCL seemed to check soooo many boxes, especially with the extra 2.1 port. However, so many reviews are killing the TV over the software being buggy. I've leaned more towards this one now, considering the current deal now.

Thoughts?

I went ahead and bought one. Supposed to arrive Tues. When I unbox, I'll be sure to update with what stand I got. I bought it b/c after a the research I did, this model seems to be the 90na but just a variant at Sam's club, same TV. We'll shall see.

Please do because the tv stand is slightly different than what's on the website. It appears that 43 and 50 inch stands are bigger than the 55in and above models

Glad you pointed that out, never would've thought that based on the pics. Hope its not too different, one of the selling points for me was the stand/design, didn't want the "legs" on my next TV. If the quality measures up to the 90na, then I'd be willing to accept the tradeoff, after all it was a great deal!

Anyone using this for a PC monitor? My use would be mostly gaming with light web browsing.

So delivery was delayed a couple days but finally arrived. You were right, it's different SLIGHTLY. It's the same curved based but with an extra 2 inches extended on the sides. Similar to a "T-shape". Personally, it works for me. I originally liked the base in the pics above but after setting it up, I can say that I like the extra footprint on the sides.

Right!! I'm going to keep mine as well but it's just weird to only have this on the smaller models. Seemed like the larger models should have the same design for safety

Lol I thought the same thing. Maybe it's marketing assumption that the bigger models are more likely to be mounted I guess.
