Pretty good price, but new cards are on the way, no problem if you have a bottomless checkbook please spend on, our economy needs it, stock market tanking, recession looming in about 12-15 months.
Unless you run Far Cry 6 and MS FS 2020 at max. settings at less than 35 FPS why not wait?

Recession is already here. The problem is that people ARE spending money, not a lack of it, that is contributing to inflation.
The reference 6900xt is also in stock at AMD.com for the same price. I am personally hanging on to my gtx1080 until the next generation comes out, have lost interest for now .
There have been 6900xts under $1000 and better cards for only a few $$ more making this ok, but not great.
If you are comparing 6900xt, this oc formula uses the xtxh chip, clocked higher and cools better than most aftermarket 6900xt. Probably the best 6900 xt, on air, you can get.

How do I know which models are using the xtxh chips?

I have this card. Bought during the pandemic for 1600 from NewEgg. You are welcome economy. It is a very good, stable card. The thermal pads are better than average meaning temps are 80s for memory at least for running games and Eth mining (not at the same time obviously)

Was comparing it to the Sapphire Nitro XTXH for $30 more. Sapphire is the best AMD maker. Asrock is not.
I'm still running a Sapphire Vega 64 Nitro and it is a beast.
This card isn't bad, just wouldn't buy it for MSRP when 6950 is around the corner for a supposed $1099 MSRP. The refresh launch should drive down prices on the older ones and it is supposedly only a couple of days away.
Hey, DO NOT buy this, why? The new replacement for this very card comes out the 11th for $999 and it's 15% faster or 20% faster than this card. You guys can go and find out this exact info. Do a google search for the AMD 6950 XT ... it comes out the 11th, here in a few days. It's listed @ $1,100. I've heard 2 different prices. I wouldn't buy this card. It's nearly if not 2 years old. It came out Summer 2020. It's nearly Summer 2022. I think they are trying to dump some excising stock or something along those lines. Performance of the new 6950 XT were leaked and it's 10% faster than the RTX 3090. So for $999 or $1,099 when the AMD 6950 XT launches on the 11th. I will be just as fast as the new $2,100 RTX 3090 Ti. Get the AMD 6950 XT if you're in the market. It's a killer card for a killer price.
