Hey all, funny timing but I was just using my Ridgid inflator yesterday. Very happy with how accurate it was, checked against my good air gauge. I would attach the Ridgid to the tire, and it read 30psi which is same as the accugauge. Set the Ridgid to AUTO and 35psi and pull the trigger and it pumps and then stops at 35, and the accugauge then read 35 too.

I got mine for less than 30 bucks, tool only, on one of those Direct Tools Outlet deals. If you already have the battery and charger I would say this current deal isn't great, since you are buying those items again. But anyway, vote of confidence for the tool itself for any who wonder. I also have an air compressor but this purchase is so much easier for filling bike tires and sports balls etc (and as I did yesterday, even car tires). I will prob use the compressor less often now

I've seen the tool only frequently go for $49.99 at HD. I just checked and this is the current price https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../313257505

Tool is great, but an extra $50 for a 2ah isn't worth

Yes good point. And there were some even better deals through DTO as I noted. Mine was supposedly factory blemished but it looked brand new unopened to me.

The fact of the matter for 99.00 dollars your getting a factory sealed retail unit. After market batteries from tools direct or any place for that matter are way over priced. A Ridgid 4.0 battery factory reconditioned is selling for 41.99. The factory reconditioned charger is going for 17.99. If you're not already in the ridgid tool system then this is a good deal for a unit that can also be powered off a car battery. I think you guys are giving some bad advice.

I hate to ruin your confirmation bias but what you're referring to is reconditioned items, not "blemished" which is really retail items--which qualify for the LSA, whereas reconditioned does not.

Let's compare the $100 for 2 x 4ah with charger and $50 inflator, both together, while $50 more is better than the posted $100 for the inflator, 2.0 battery, and charger.

Stop smoking crack. 2.0AH are useless, not desirable and not sought after. A Ridgid charger...big whoopty. Dime a dozen. This deal is absolutely nothing special for a tool that isn't hard to find.

Great tool - I own one - crap deal

And DTO isn't aftermarket batteries. Get a clue. Nobody is talking about factory reconditioned except you. Which is weird cause 70-75% of the items DTO offers is factory blemished. Which offers LSA on most items Ridgid except a select few
