burying the lead here, the set booster bundles are part of this deal and are a much better value.

Are they? I'm looking at the BOGO landing page and i don't see a (3x) Set booster on there, only singles.

Still have my original mtg from the 90s. Not sure what all these new ones are….

Is mtgo still going good? Kind of like that platform because you can actually find people to play. But not having physical cards was the bummer part and they glitch a lot with all the rules.

The new abilities, especially in commander, have been nuts.
I gave all my cards to siblings years ago, but I just played a few games with them this past week and it was a blast. They've added characters and abilities I would have never been able to think up!

The game is sadly in a sorry state as they're clearly only interested in milking it dry with rising costs, less product per box, and terrible balance. Each set now only has 1-2 cards that shine and hold value long after, while the other 300+ cards are mostly worthless or just meta for 3 months. The latest set being a great example of even within limited, one color combo has been dominating the entire set.

Point being, just because it's on sale doesn't make it a good product. Truly sad.

The bundle for 41.99. If you buy 2 you get 16 set boosters at ~2.70 per pack, plus the foil lands, 2x spindows, and 2x card boxes. Set boosters are the way to go with this set, with the better chance at rares, and list cards.

I don't think you can get free shipping with only cards. I don't have the set booster bundle for pickup within 100 miles of DC. Also, if you have 4 draft packs and 4 set boosters, BOGO applies to the set boosters for a total of $52 and not $38.

Unopened boxes of FE go for like $700-$1000 these days, it's pretty bizarre.
On the topic of current magic, the previous set (the one in this deal) was really fun to draft. The theme, story, art, and mechanics were all really solid. Haven't had time to try out Streets of New Capenna (the newest set) yet though

MTG Arena is the new hottness now. Much modern UI.

Wow, these are the exact reasons I left the game back in 1997 lmao. All the Urza sets came out and so many cards were banned/restricted within the first few weeks of release. Really sucked after trading for sets of 4 of some of those cards.

except the game has never been larger. people have been pooping on mtg with every new set for the past 10+ years and the game keeps growing.
