If you have a PS5 or Series X, they're doing free upgrades for 2, 3 and 7. They're adding ray-tracing, higher resolution with high framerates, and haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support for the PS5. There isn't an exact release date for the upgrades, but it was a news pop up on PS5, about a month ago. So, I would bet within the next couple of months. If I were you, I would just keep playing Village and then play 2 and 3 after they've gotten that upgrade. Of course that doesn't matter if you haven't been able to get one of the new consoles yet.

Doesn't matter I have over 600 games digital and a minor hiccup isn't going to change me back. Also game sharing
So you have 600 games you don't really own. Cool 🤡.

And that he'll never play. I love how gamers' go-to brag, when they don't have a good argument against physical being better, is how many games they have; as if that somehow will convince me that digital is better. I can buy the physical versions of those same 600 games, likely for significantly cheaper, and actually own them. Lol.

Don't modern consoles force you to be online even to play off physical discs these days? So sadly, you're still reliant on the console maker's reliability to prevent your physical disc from being a glorified coaster. I don't game much, but I seem to recall an episode about a year ago where my Xbox One S forced me to do a console update before I could play (my game on physical disc). It took over an hour and I got so frustrated waiting that I gave up. I miss the good ol days of offline consoles, give me the glory days of the PS1 & PS2!

I feel your frustration. Tip, put your Xbox offline, do the install, it will be done in a few minutes as opposed to online which can take over an hour. Then put it back online and you are back to the glory days (kinda Smilie ) my friend.

They don't force you to be online. You don't need to be online at all except for a handful of games.

That is not the case with PlayStation. If you have a disc, you're good to go. If you're not online, you'll have zero issues. If you are online, it will want to download an update, but you can still play the game while the update is downloading. The only thing you won't be able to do during the download is use the game's online features.

Is this the cheapest? It's been? Seems like the best buy clearance price for when they're going to stop selling. It. Went ahead and grabbed one for Xbox given the comment about free upgrades

I mean I personally said why I purchase a certain way and you got bum hurt because it wasn't how you liked it. But hey having a gamerscore of 228,984 clearly says I don't play the games I have. Guess you aren't a master race PC gamer.

I agree with you. I hate LeBron lol. I liked him in 2002 and grew up watching him come into the league. I have to change this name.

But with that being said, I don't know what LeBitch has to do with you buying 600 digital games that you don't technically own. You make no sense.

Fighting between physical and digital is exactly what the corporations want. It's fully within their power to provide the digital license when you purchase a physical game. In fact, some few games did that in the past. But they have separated the markets on purpose so that digital becomes the norm, and they devalue physical as much as they can.

Although I prefer physical so that I own the game, I cannot deny the convenience of digital. I wish there was a way to have best of both worlds without purchasing twice, but that will never happen due to the greed of game manufacturers
