I purchased 2 of the Motion + and 2 of the Motion Boom. I had to get stereo experience and take my audio somewhat seriously. I kept the Motion + as they are high fidelity. Well balanced at all volumes. The only thing I dislike is the Bluetooth is spotty in Stereo Mode. I also have Minirigs and Earfun Go Stereo as well. Motion + is a go.
Hey how would you compare stereo motion plus in stereo to the mini rig 3? The marketing for the mini rig makes it seem like it's the second coming of man when it comes to speakers. I'm skeptical

Minirigs are great sounding, they are the best and best balanced single speaker setup. Are they worth it, no. I prefer rugged ability because I take my speakers to the pool, outdoors, patio setup. The sound is good but not worth the price tag in my opinion. I get better highs with motion +. If I'm completely honest, I use my Earfun gos the most.

I've watched a lot of YouTube reviews that all say the same..

If you want solid bass and good sound, go with the boom.

If you want great sound and ok bass, go with motion +

I just received the boom yesterday, gave it a quick test and it did not disappoint at all. Max volume there was no distortion and bass was solid too. Will download the app to customize the EQ settings tomorrow.

I don't know where there are so many people that are bothered by the 'deals' posted. I have bought many things that people complain are 'not a deal'. I am very happy with my purchase because it is something that I didn't know I needed but ended up being very useful in my life, and although the price fluctuates, I was able to get it at the lower end of the fluctuation.

Why is it so hard for people to ignore something if it is not something they are interested in at the moment? They have to now go on about the 'big bad slick deal Gods'. You know what, slick deals save me so much money in my life, I can afford to live a relatively comfortable life, because I am able to retain more of my earning. Slickdeals has tremendously contributed to my financial standing.

I'm the guy who owns a Porsche because of my savings from slick deals. And because I DIY, this weekend, I spent $500 on a tune up on my Porsche that everyone else with the same car, just plops down $4,500 at the dealer. I should not have this car with my salary and my family, but I'm cheap, and slick deals contribute to my paycheck.
Even when something isnt relevant, we occasionally need to toot a little for our egos to feel a part of a community. The extra opinionated chattiness might be obnoxious every now and then when we start talking about ourselves, but in out rants, all we really want is to be heard and acknowledged because we're lonely

Stereo pairing works magically with the motion boom, terribly for the plus.

The speaker guy checking in here:

Keep in mind, the reason the motion+ and Motion boom are currently on sale is because Soundcore JUST announced a new speaker that has been speculated about for over a year on reddit/youtube, called the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus!
It has larger drivers than the Motion Boom and has 2 tweeters as well. It's also 80 watts (compared to 30 for either other model) and is claimed by Soundcore to be "twice as loud". This would mean that it is at least 3 full decibels louder.

You can currently reserve one for $1 and its $40 off retail at the moment and is selling for $140.

I got the one with the handle from Anker's ebay store for $59. Bought two of them. Both in original packaging and looked new. Work great. I'd go that route over this. Usb C charging too.

Thanks for answering. It seems the most impressive bit about the minirig may be loudness for its size

When it comes to detail retrieval and clarity of mids/trebel is the motion plus better from an audiophile standpoint? I owned one before and found the mids and treble kind of lifeless. But if the minirig 3 is a step below the motion plus in this department that tells me its definitely something I should never consider.

So, how much is your salary?
The reason people complain are legitimate.

Many "deals", are not deals. They are the regular price, or manipulated inflated price, and out on "sale" at the true price. They are simply marketing. There is a human behavior that is exploited, where, when you have a "coupon" it gives people the impression they are getting a deal, when, in fact, they are not. There are many ways to non aggressively manipulate people, and marketing uses all of them.

It is a balance. There are legit deals on here. And there are many fake deals on here.

You using Slickdeals to discover new products isn't relevant to the points above.

Yeah, I gave them my $1 for the $38 off. I have so many BT speakers and Sonos I'm almost embarrased to have this show up at my house (I can see my wife's eyes already rolling) but I have Soundcore headphones and they are a great value so I figured I'd pull the trigger on the Motion Boom plus. My eyes almost rolled as I typed this, LOL
