it's funny I was at Gamestop last month, a guy came in with this game in hand, I asked if he was going to traded it in and he said yes. I asked how much they give him he said $30 something, I offered him $35 and he said okay. Walked out with that game for $35, Gamestop would have paid $30 and sell it back for $55 + tax lol.

Story is meh, but the exploration aspect is fun, especially once you can bump up the shiny encounter rate. And now Pokemon Home compatibility was just announced, so you can bring them over to the other games soon.

Nope. You could argue Sword/Shield + DLC is more complete, but you miss out on that true open world experience you get from PLA. Fingers crossed Scarlet/Violet will fill that void later this year. If they were smart, they'd keep the PLA engine.

Yes!

My 3,5, and 7 year olds love it. I'm not sure they would have progressed through areas at all without my help but they're very happy just to run around the village. Or in the case of my 3 year old, run around randomly with the camera pointed straight down.

If you think this game is "grindy" i am genuinely curious what games you don't consider grindy, i only had to grind for dex points like twice throughout my entire playthrough, and only for like 15 minutes each time.

Its funny, Best Buy would've given him the same price and sold it for the same price, why does GameStop always get the flack for literally what other stores already do.
