I have a Theragun massager. I also have a few other massagers like Chinese knockoffs from Amazon and sharper image from Costco. I have also tried 2 other massagers that were on sale at Costco (I forget the names). Below are my thoughts:

If you are big, muscular or beefy buy Theragun prime. The higher amplitude is necessary to penetrate deeper into the muscle to remove knots and aches. If you are bonier or thin buy sharper image, which is also currently on sale at Costco.

Sharper Image massager is good for forearms, arms, calves and near spine as well. It doesn't hurt and has good power. Theragun is great, even necessary, for the bigger muscle groups like quads, glutes, hamstrings, shoulders, etc.

Do not buy Chinese knockoffs with 1000 reviews on Amazon. All are fake reviews or bought reviews. The machines are horrible. They stall, make noise or just break.

Do not buy Theragun Pro with 60 lbs of force. 95% of the population will barely go till 40 lbs, so it's a waste of money. Theragun Pro is great for commercial establishments like physical therapists, wellness centers, etc because of the interchangeable battery. Home use does not need interchangeable battery or as much force as advertised, so save your money.
From BB's site:

"Do you match the prices of a Warehouse club?

Yes. We do match the prices of Warehouse clubs as long as the Warehouse club is a local retail competitor, has an identical immediately available product and all other price match criteria are met. If the Warehouse club website price requires a membership ID or login to view, price match is only available in our store (not via phone or chat) and must be a live offer (not a screenshot)."

You'd be better to buy from Costco and return your BB one, Costco has a better return policy.
Not sure about your logic there. You see some shoes online buy them, get them and decide they don't look good on you, return it. You buy a massage gun and find it really doesn't help you, return it. Same principle, nothing wrong there.

Now buying a prom dress, wearing it to prom and returning it. Thats differernt and makes sense as not ethical.

Thanks for the info! I'll go into the BB store to price match since I put it on my BB credit card.

I just bought the G4 last week but it's been awesome! I lift weights and my wife runs so we've both been using it every day! I considered the Prime but the extra foam cushion with the G4 plus the ability to move the head to different positions was worth the upgrade to us!

Another Apple-like overpriced product. How are these better than the $50 knock offs?
I guess you would have to try it to tell. Probably it is a little better made and has more power. I tried a friend's $100 to $150 or so "purewave" massager that has an "arm" you can hold onto, so that you can self massage. Honestly, I almost think the purewave is better, since it feels easier to massage yourself with that. It also felt reasonably powerful and had a few settings.

I did end up getting a theragun back in December. It's very powerful. People always comment on how good it seems. Some family members felt it was actually TOO powerful though. This could be alleviated by using a different tip for the massager. I haven't learned which tips are best for this or that yet, but there is a flat foam like tip that makes it much more gentle, but still a good massage.

I think a majority of people that buy theragun probably would not regularly use this. If you're someone that has regular aches and pains, and would use it, it may be worth the purchase.

I do wish I had waited for this deal though. I spent extra for a Best Buy extended warranty, since I've read horror story reviews on Amazon about the company and bad return or replacement experiences. I'm not sure how long Costco's warranty would apply for something like this, nor if they'd honor it with a lapsed membership though.

I literally bought a Theragun Prime from Best Buy last week.

I was considering cheaping out and buying a knockoff on Amazon. I'm glad I didn't. The massage capability for sore muscles is excellent and does not fade at all. It's well built. I'll try to get BB to price match.

Bought the prime for 200 about 6 months ago from ebay and honestly speaking it's not great as the applied stall force is 30 which is below 40 recommended for a deep tissue massage so if you really want it then go with pro version which has 60 pounds of stall force.
Won't recommend prime even at this price.

If you're using it for your actual muscles frankly amazing. If you're talking about "other usages" let's just say I hope you have good insurance and/or one of you really likes being the S and the other really likes being the M cause it's really not going to feel good like that.
