Looking for some help. When I go through the process to enroll, Amazon returns a message that Amex says I don't have a rewards account. I go to the Amex app and can clearly see a rewards balance.

What gives? I triple checked the name, card info, address. All match my Amex account.

I switched to Chase Sapphire Preferred about 5 years ago from Amex and the relationship is in a bad place right now. I don't use Amex much anymore and Amex doesn't give me any of these benefits and decent offers. All I see in my Amex offers are junk retailers. It's sad really. Amex was my first credit card. What happened Amex? What happened!

Thanks OP. I also got the 40% off, max $50. I picked up some emergency supplies (hurricane season coming up).. and some filters I regularly need anyway. Used 1 point to take down ~$130 to 75 bucks.

Interesting that it was only valid for the first 1,126 customers. Seems like an arbitrary number.

Was shopping baseball helmets last night. When I flipped color choices from blue to blue/black the Amex offer popped under the price of helmet. Just seem to always be shopping when these come out lol. . .

Don't qualify for this or the past couple. But did have a 40% off a couple months ago, which is likely why. Spent a lot on that one.
