Crazy they've been able to maintain the $299 price tag the past 5 years!

Only you can answer that question. I personally would say it's not worth the hassle.

Not crazy at all. It's Nintendo, and they had the help of the pandemic (demand was probably the highest ever for their portable/home electronics).

Amazon CS used to be great, now it's pretty trash.

I think it is crazy that you have to pay 60 dollars to get nintendo wiiu games. I understand family orientation but nintendo is blood sucking company.

I just paid $270 for this via Woot, and already opened it. Wonder if it's worth buying another one to return to Woot for the $11 difference?
Woot doesn't do free return shipping so you likely will not get all of that $11 difference back. Unless the item is damaged or defective, they give you a label and then take the difference of out the return amount. At least that is what they told me this week when I was going to attempt a return.

If it's for kids they probably won't notice the difference, but personally, I feel the OLED is worth the extra cost if you don't have a switch.

I do have both (non-OLED and OLED one) and highly recommend you go for the OLED one if you can afford it. I really like the OLED display.

Wonder if I should jump on this or hold out for the next Switch Pro or whatever. I had the Gen 1 Switch but sold it. Got the Lite for free recently. It's good but can't play some of the games I have plus I miss the dock to play on TV feature. Plus I want to give the Lite to the little one so we can play together. hmmm 🤔

Bummer. I think that's how much I paid for my Switch a couple years ago, and that was at a pawn shop. AND I had to replace a thumbstick in one of the D-pads!
