FYI, I'm not sure if they improved the earpads on the 7P+ but I did spend 25 on these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MVKL...UTF8&
Also, this for easy charging: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GWLF...UTF8&

I have the early 7P and prefer them over the Sony and my gen 1 A50's. IMO they are the best value in a PS5 headset (even with the additions below)

6 months of use and my toddler has thrown them around a few times with no issues.

Thanks for the input , I'm considering buying it , but I'd prefer the white to match the ps5, but the white version is expensive.
Also, a heads up to anyone buying from SteelSeries site. Be warned that customer service is terrible and you must pay for return shipping if something happens.

IMO, the sidetone wheel on the 7P+ is useless for gaming, whereas the chat/game fader wheel on the 7 and 7+ is one of the top features I love about these headsets.
The others being battery life, sound quality, and comfort.
As others have said, customer service is complete garbage, so aside from accessories, I generally prefer to purchase on Amazon with extended warranty through a 3rd party.
edit: In case you're trying to decide between 7+/7P+ and other "premium" headsets options:
- Arctis Pro (returned, garbage build quality and battery life for the price)
- Astro A50 (only redeeming quality is dock charging, otherwise shorter battery life, and boom mic loosens over after 1yr) Astro support is a mixed bag, but better than steel series.
