I started noticing this too and after reading a bunch of these tzumi electronics reviews I get a very "fakespot" vibe from almost all of them. I just read through a bunch of the reviews for the adjustable kettlebell deal at Walmart which is all tzumi electronics reviews as well, and almost none of them mention the cowbell shape of it, which I would've thought would be the first mention in a "normal" review. They mostly just look like the generic "this is great, this saves space, easy to adjust." As a kettlebell user myself my first thought looking at that thing is how it would compare to a traditional shaped kettlebell when doing cleans, snatches, presses, etc. Not one mention of any of these exercises

I'm not saying this is bad. But all reviews were not written at Walmart. Rather to here all from Tzumi Electronics

To be honest the Bowflexes aren't that great either. They're massive and get in the way of doing lifts all the time. Your much better off paying extra for power blocks in the long run

I've been waiting on a deal for those myself. I also want my ends to be flush when sitting on my legs to bounce up for chess and shoulder press.

I got these last time they were posted on here and i really like them after using them for a few weeks. Weider 55 Lb. Select-a-Weight Adjustable Dumbbell Set with Cast Iron Weight Plates - Walmart.com
Obviously, they are more expensive. But i would buy them again. If you like this style of dumbells, including Bowflex and power block odd designs. This seems like a good price point to keep around for a few years though.

Seconded - just got the Weiders (which are the exact same as the NordicTrak version as it's the same manufacturer) a couple weeks ago and have enjoyed them. Simple, less bulky than these or the bowflexes and were ~270 for the set. You can probably even find a better price at Sam's Club too.
Yeah agree those reviews are fake, though I don't know if that guarantees that this is a bad product. The design looks nearly identical to the bowflex, so either bowflex is selling rebadged to try and get the low end market, or it's a good knock-off.
In for 1, I own the full sized Bowflex ones and these look like some kind of Chinese rip-off using the same factory, down to the new metal bit on the weight plates. One of my Bowflex has broken from being dropped while I was moving, so it can't go above 40 without one of the plates slipping off, figure this might be a good set and possibly the parts may be interchangeable, they look VERY similar.

How safe are these if they're BowFlex knockoffs? I mean, if you're doing chest presses, and lifting these DIRECTLY OVER YOUR HEAD, and a plate slips out?
I would worry about those with any adjustable dumbbell, but with sketchy Chinese knockoffs? I'd steer clear.
