About this deal:
This price is $8.04 lower (80% savings) than the list price of $9.99.
One of the all time classics with a great twist. Loved the characters. KOTOR 2 was unfinished from what I've read about it but still a great sequel.
Kotor 2 has a lot of cut content that can be restored (and bug fixes) through unofficial patches for the pc. Kotor 1 is largely the same, but looks a lot better.

Any other recommendations from this sale?
Are these games significantly different on Steam/PC than mobile (iOS?)

agreed. I finished both games and KOTOR 1 to me is more memorable. Still good for $2 though. A remake is being made by Aspyr Media with modern technology. Hope they don't screw it up... it can go either way....
Steam lists it as "Unknown" Steam Deck compatibility, however I just loaded it on mine and everything works fine as far as I can tell. I didn't even play through the first area, though, so no guarantees. Controls might be a bit funky, as I think in this version (as opposed to Xbox version) you have to use the mouse to some extent. The trackpad on the Deck seemed nice for that, though.

I've never played the game before. Thanks for not spoiling the twist even though I just looked it up myself and ruined it for me lol. Nice twist thanks again

The Yavin station is the closest I remember but I think you can actually mod the game for that.
