What's the protocol on donating formula? My kid no longer needs it and he has some extras laying around.
They are brand new, unopened. Since there is a shortage, I want someone else to use it but I also don't want any liability. America is a very litigious country, sadly.

I guess you can try to reach out to the nearby food bank. They might know people in need of formulas.

Ask a pediatrician if they can put them up on their desks - ours leave stock with expiry dates mentioned. There are also your local "Buy Nothing" FB groups.

If you are in local community FB groups that's a good place. Brand new, unopened, non recalled formula shouldn't be a liability risk.

Some food bank accept donation of unopened, non expired formula.
