I think it's a matter of preference. I've tried them all since my teeth are very sensitive. I haven't used colgate's sensitive toothpaste for maybe 5 years. I thought it worked well but I hated brushing with it. I didn't like the thickness it had. My favorites are Crest or Sensodyne. But, that's just me.

5% potassium nitrate as well. For me - they've been comparable. And as this is much cheaper, I'll go with it 9 times out of 10 now. Though I do prefer sensodyne taste.
