YMMV - HP 27m - $87.50 Walmart Clearance - IPS, 1080P, HDMI, VGA

Basic plastic tilting stand.
No VESA mounting holes.

Best suited for office work with a large desk or for someone that likes to lean back in their chair.

Also a good choice for older folks that prefer bigger text.

To head off the DPI / PPI stupidity that seems to come with every 27" monitor posting, Dots Per Inch / Pixels Per Inch is useless without accounting for distance.

The further away something is, the better the apparent sharpness. Bigger desk -> bigger monitor further away to get the same size and sharpness of text.

Some people like bigger monitors with bigger pixels. Because not everyone still lives in the bedroom they grew up in.

No need to defend a good deal, but 1080 @ 27" is a bit of a stretch... literally. Smilie

Which is the POINT. It's bigger. Same reason a 77" TV works better than a 55" for a lot of people, they have a bigger space and sit further away. I don't get why people with small desks struggle to understand that some other people have big desks?

With monitors it's also often vision related. Lots of older folks zoom in 24" monitors because they're hard to read. Those folks usually prefer 27" to fit more on the screen without having to zoom to the point where it screws with page layouts.

It's not as bad as the people who vote down YMMV deals because their specific store is out of stock. Voting down YMMV because their mileage varied... Yeah.

Voting down good deals because they're not a good fit personally is just being an asshole. People doing that are burying deals that could benefit others.

No, it will not. You'll understand when you hook it up.

My current 2nd monitor is a Dell S2415 IPS (1080p). It looks fine, but it's not big enough. This should be perfect.
