If you don't like their tools, cool, there's a color for everyone - but the brand is the first word in the thread title. Cordless sanders just seem like a weird thing to try trolling folks over.
You can see it doesn't stack up well against other brands in the Project Farm testing:

I couldn't agree more. This thing is so unbalanced and a horrible experience to use. I think the original Porter Cable 330 I have has spoiled me (wish it was cordless!). I love the ridgid line but this and that crappy (handheld) vacuum are the worst tools.

I have the 6in variable speed orbital sander from DTO from the last recon flash sale. It doesn't pull and the variable speed offers great control. Highly recommend!

If it was $90 Ridgid vs. $130 Bosch (with battery) I think I'd go blue - but on this I'm in the Ridgid for like $55 which is an awesome price, hoping Project Farms sample size of 1 comes into play. I see plenty of good reviews on the Ridgid ones too. I definitely appreciate folks input on these here though, and i've seen plenty of cases were the tool is either awesome or trash (based on some defect) and finger crossed that distinction makes itself apparent out of the gate.
