Nice find. I like the Kindle format for portability, but don't want to pay full price for a book I already own in hardcover.

I'm on book 6... some slow parts and filler in 5-6 so far but a few of the storylines are still fantastic.

Everyone tells me the middle few books get slow from time to time but just need to power through for the last few lol.

I'm committed!

Read books 1-6 while on tdy in Brunei. Sad that Amazon has butchered the books to make a woke TV series. Not the fault of the actors, the producers are out of their minds.

I saw the series as going uphill to an amazing finale in book 6, then a downhill trod through book 10, and then 11-14 were all amazing.

I really don't blame the producers. I blamer the authors and estate keepers of their creative work being made to films. It boggles my mind they would allow it to happen. I guess when it comes to money, there are no morals and principles.

Brandon Sanderson was heavily involved in the series and did try to make some changes to keep them more on track. He was vetoed or ignored in many instances but listened too in others. Not the wokeness and not the changes to some of the characters like Perrin or Matt.

Director and producers fault. They wanted to be grim dark and woke. Sanderson even indicated this in some of his videos. Albeit in a super nice Sanderson way.

Still good price on a great series.
