Have seen this at Costco for 69/79 before, this seems to be a good price @ 39.97.
North America's Most Popular Portable Propane Heater! This patented radiant 4,000-9,000 BTU Liquid Propane heater connects directly to a 1 lb. cylinder and is the perfect solution for heating enclosed spaces like large tents up to 200 sq. ft. The expertly engineered size to BTU ratio is augmented with a fold down handle to give this heater maximum output while retaining a minimalistic footprint. A swivel regulator gives you the ability to adapt usage from a disposable cylinder to a remote gas supply with the purchase of a hose and filter. To light the unit, simply rotate the knob to pilot and push. Then the integrated Piezo sparking mechanism will take care of the rest. With the Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) and accidental tip-over safety shut-off you can be sure that you will enjoy years of comfortable indoor safe heat.
Awesome price if you can find it. Super YMMV.
I've never even seen these in any of my Costcos. I'm assuming they're probably only sold in colder climate regions.
I went to my local Costco on 28th St in Grand Rapids, MI today and they had about 20-25 on a pallet, so I snagged a few. These are a must have in cold climates and have worked great for me!
When you say price matched, did you give them a location at this price, and they matched it?
The warehouse had the reduced price on their remaining stock. I asked them if they could price match my previous purchase of this heater. I purchased it less than a month ago.
FYI there's a decent amount around Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
This product isn't listed on Costco.com and it's in-store only. So, YMMY.
I got this product price match yesterday in the warehouse and it's a great price. The next cheapest is at Walmart for $69.00.
Lastly, it also comes with a 5ft hose and fuel filter for up to 20lb propane tanks. Usually, this is $20 alone for this adapter.
Recommend getting the line that requires no filter. It's on Mr. Buddies website. Will save the heater in the long run.
The problem with the fuel filter is it has to be changed every season. If not it will clog the internals. Happened to my dad's. Worked for about 4 seasons (very casual residential use for garage).

Which warehouse? I checked my local (Rochester) warehouse and they said their system showed one which was likely the floor display. However I might be going to St. Paul (Hennepin Ave.) so just wondering.(eden prairie might be closest?)
