Things I like.
Portable
A "holding tray" under the handle (i put my phone)
Easy to figure out
Solar charging.
Things I dislike and would like to see some improvement
No Resetable fuse. Its limited only by the circuit board I think. It will just scream at you when overloaded.
Loud beeps when pressing buttons. Trying to look at the display or activate feature gives a loud beep.
No dust covers for the ports.
No protection for cables. (Being portable, its easy to bump into the plugged in cables that can damage the outlets)
No storage for the accessory cables.. very easy to misplace them.
Now that is for the compressor running continuously. If that thing is well insulated and in a shady place, it will reach its set point and then shut off.
At least this is how my compressor fridge works.
So, based on that, external temps, frequency of opening the lid, etc, you'll get more time per battery charge.

Or which one people usually prefer for Solar Panel that has everything needed to connect to similar power station?
I realize the one listed here has lower capacity and lower wattage output, but for my purposes (running a small 12V compressor fridge when camping, and charging phones, GPS device, ipad mini) it seems like this would work just as well as the R300, it'd just not run or charge things quite as long.
Anyone have a good comparison of the differences between this i200 and the R300? Mainly wanting to compare build quality and functionality.

Totally random question - what fridge do you have, and how long does your r300 run it? I have an r300 as well and also use for my fridge, but just wanted to see what others got out of it.

One thing that appeals to me on this i200 is the smaller footprint compared to the R300. I have aspirations of installing it into a more durable box (like an ammo box) and this is inexpensive enough that I might just get one to modify for a project like that.

Wow that's way longer than mine! Mine is an older ACOPOWER brand one, it's definitely less efficient. That really makes me want to upgrade. Thanks for the reply!
At 80 percent discharge, you would get out around 16ah.
on traditional deep cycle it's really like .50 percent if you want longevity....
On those portable fridges the compressor uses roughly 50-65w/hr. You will get roughly 4 hours of continuous compressor run time. It will do a water boiling 12v appliance which is about 120vdc....however it will use up a large amount of your storage.
It helps a lot to run the fridge on your drive to whenever and then switch over to this... but trying to keep ice cream is a power hog.. I find around 40 to be a sweet spot.
