Just received mine today from a similar deal a few days ago. This mask is much thinner compared to my other KN95's and definitely far inferior than BYD or Powecom. The first mask I took out broke at the string attachment. Additionally, it has a hint of chemical smell.

Does it offer more protection than a 3 ply surgical mask? Perhaps, but I wouldn't wear this in a crowded indoor setting.

You definitely get what you pay for.

Don't know about the quality of these for Covid, but are these types of masks generally more comfortable/Better fits than surgical masks? Except they should be harder to breathe in. Do they have the same smells as surgical masks? Made a Similar materials material? figured these might be adequate for gardening, dust, smoke? Would these types of mask or surgical work if I wore a cotton underneath so I don't have to touch or breathe so much this plasticky material? I guess it would get soaked in warm weather. What's the best mask for warm weather or moderate exercise say when the air is smoky?

I prefer cone type like this but not sure about this brand. At least for working on lawn and wearing glasses, cones have a better fit and better fit around nose. Varies but I'd catch up with mask nerd on twitter and ProjectN95. Plenty of mask threads here on SD also, just search for KN95. I use them at work for outdoors for dust and pollen but I use 3M N95 in public spaces. https://twitter.com/masknerd?lang=en if you gotta mask then make it count, don't go CHEAP

I normally use powecom kn95 as it had great results from the cdc testing. I ordered the "Funight" 25pk of kn95s recently since people said it tested well too. Just ordered this set as a cheap backup that's one step above the medical masks.
