Thanks for posting these deals (almost daily?). My stack of flashlights and lanterns has grown somewhat.

Last night we had a power outage, and having a number of camping lanterns on the ready made it less of a challenge. Some of those posted in previous days/weeks were really good deals, as they came with nice 26650 cells which aren't cheap and last a long time even on "high".

Note that some of them do require batteries, some require multiple D-cells which should be obsolete in today's age of 18650 etc cells being widely available.

Nothing for me this round, although that wrap-around headlight does look tempting. Do not need it. Do not need it. Do not need it. Do not need it.

šŸ˜€šŸ˜ƒšŸ™‚ 1100 lumen with 3 AAA !? Wow. "That's awesome !" (sarcastic ). Let's do the math: 3 batteries x.75A (an average of 750 mA) x1.5V=3.375 W. LED has 90 lm /W, so a maximum of 303.75 lm.

FYI the blue 2 pack Eveready headlamps for $5.xx is back. I didn't check if the black rechargeable ones 50% coupon also came back or not (once you place an order, the coupon goes away for the blue ones). See this thread:
https://slickdeals.net/f/15783598-energizer-rechargeable-headlamps-2-pack-8-47-at-amazon?v=1

Btw, Energizer is owned by Eveready (or the other way around), in case anyone is wondering.

Lame lumens. Meh price. These are better but if you want the best headlamp get all cob leds. Victoper 2 Pack LED Headlamp, 1100 Lumen Bright Lightweight Head Lamp with 4 Mode, IPX5 Waterproof Head Light with Red Light for Running Fishing Hiking Camping, Outdoor Head Flashlight for Adults Kids https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MCMV...UTF8&psc=1
These uses three aaa batteries, at 1100 lumen if true, it will burn thru the battery like crazy in minutes.

I picked up a 3-pack of the rechargeable plug-in flashlights last time precisely for power outages. The flashlight comes on automatically when power is cut. Not sure about the longevity of the rechargeable battery but I like the idea that in case of emergency to always know where a charged flashlight is and not have to scramble to find one or to discover it's low on battery.
Something else to tempt you if didn't pick these up already?

I need a headlamp for walking my dog. What's the best one that lasts at least 30 mins on high?

Does keeping it constantly charging mess up the battery?
Like I've heard you're not supposed to keep a laptop plugged in all the time because it kills the battery even if you never use the battery.

Yeah that's why I said the longevity of the battery is not clear. I would think if the flashlight was designed to be plugged in all the time the battery should last, otherwise the reviews will show. For around $4 each, I'd be fine if they last a few years at least. I have a portable DAC (for audiophile headphones) that has an internal battery and doubles as a power bank that I've kept plugged in and charging all the time for years without issue. I am not familiar with the different rechargeable battery types, if anyone knows please chime in.

Wait a minute. Are you saying you actually believe that nonsense about 1100 lumens? On 3xAAA batteries?
