Yes, but Sony's XR processing is superior to LG's and that makes a huge difference in content especially upscaling
Obviously this goes for all TVs? lmao you're comparing a 77" to 65", every big screen will show more artifacts. Sony always wins in picture quality in all the comparisons i've seen. Of course, TVs can be subjective and people just need to see both in person before they make a decision. LG kept being advertised as being the end all be all for gaming but If you have an nintendo switch, the sony is better for upscaling.

I've heard the ABL when playing games is terrible on this set. If not for that I would definitely buy it. I'll probably just wait for the Samsung OLED to drop in price.

Not sure whether to go with this (the price I've wanted) or wait til Costco hopefully puts it back at $1599 with the 5 year warranty. I screwed up not getting it this past week.
