What benefits over venture does it have? Restaurants 3x is all I can find.
It might be worth it just for the bonus then cancel the card.
They have a pre qualification link so one can try without getting the hard pull.

You will get a hard pull if you are approved and apply.
If I downgrade the card at the first anniversary then will I still get the anniversary bonus and travel card to pay off the first year's membership fee.

Book a flight $300 credit and apply for global entry $100.
Thanks, when they give $300 credit?

Annual Fee: $95
Where do you see $395

This is correct. The commenter thinks this is the Venture X!
Yes that's all they give considering the credit limit is very less as offered initially..
I applied for the Capital One Venture X card on January 7th, 2025, and was approved just minutes after submitting my application. The card was mailed and arrived three days later on January 10th. As expected, I immediately took advantage of the card's offerings.
On January 10th, I added two authorized users, and their cards arrived by January 14th, all delivered via FedEx. I also enrolled in the Priority Pass program on the 11th, although the card wasn't recognized by the system until the 13th. By then, I was able to successfully activate my Priority Pass. On the 14th, I attempted to enroll my authorized users as well, but it wasn't until January 15th that their cards were recognized for Priority Pass access.
Next, I enrolled for Global Entry on January 15th, and by the 16th, I had completed my interview at JFK airport. It was an easy process overall.
Since receiving my card, I've spent about $1,000, and I've already seen the $395 annual fee charged. However, I've already received the $300 travel credit and a $120 refund for the Global Entry application. These perks have made the card feel well worth it.
Additionally, the card itself is made of steel and has an elegant, premium feel to it. I also discovered the fantastic referral program, where you can earn 25,000 bonus points for each approved referral, with up to four referrals per year.
So far, I've been very pleased with my Venture X experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a card that provides great value with excellent perks. If you're interested, I would greatly appreciate it if you used my referral link to apply: https://i.capitalone.co

The lounge access from the priority pass does save money on food. The bonus points/miles gives free flights. There are other benefits from VISA and the CC vendors (bonus cash, travel insurance, free ride sharing subscription) make the card with annual fees worthwhile but only if you have to spend the money on things those cards are designed for.
