If anyone is interested, you CANNOT get these working at 2K without using the eufy app.

RTSP will only work at 1080P via something like blue iris. It makes a big difference so be wary of that's what you're thinking.
Bought this last time when it was on sale. After selecting human only and lowering the sensitivity I still get a ton of false alerts.
This has not been my experience. They over night cameras and ask you ship the broken one back AFTER you receive new one. I had one stuck in night mode. They told me to keep it and use it until the replacement was set up and gave me a free label to ship it back out after.

Switched out all my Wyze. Only wish it has live view of all cameras like Wyze.

I bought one after the last post on the Eufy Outdoor Cam, and I've had it running for the past four days. I think it's a great cam for only $50. The 2k video is very clear in daytime, the audio is reasonably good (although the quality of your voice through the cam's speaker is not very good), and I find the night vision works well. The feature I find most attractive is the fact that you can store video on an SD card, and don't need to subscribe to a monthly service. For $50 a very good value.

These absolutely suck compared to the indoor 2K cameras. The firmware hasn't been finished in seven months.

does this need an app to setup and run? I use opensource camera recording and have some IP camera's connected, would this have a web access directly to the camera using the camera's IP address?

Eufy warranty is awful, they will not replace the camera until they receive the defective camera.

No vehicle detection, human detection hardly works, so detections are either all false alarms or you are missing the majority of actual events.

What cameras are you currently using, and what open-source software are you currently using? I was looking into blue iris, and currently have wyze cams.

You'll use the app to set it up and get it on your wifi network and configure it, but once you have done so you can stream it to blueiris or probably other software.
