Is your thinking that this keyboard is going to somehow improve her carpel tunnel? There's nothing ergonomic about this keyboard. If anything the tall mechanical switches and keycaps are going to be an even worse situation.

Look for one that separates the left and right hand at least, and ideally keeps the thumb sides of the hands higher than the "pinky" side

No, just easier typing experience compared to typing on a laptop keyboard .

I would suggest going for something with the palm rest plastic thingy that attaches at the bottom the keyboard. Usually a Microsoft or Logitech "ergonomic" type keyboard. I've even found cheapo ones at Walmart. Big difference is the extended plastic, instead of an immediate drop off/edge of keyboard, so your palms rest on it and it keeps your wrists higher/aligned.

Speaking from personal experience using computers at work 40hrs a week. The cheap OEM keyboards edges just stop, no ergonomics. So I'd ALWAYS replace it with one of mine. Big difference happier wrists.

Bought this last year for the same price - blown away by its value. Love the clicking sound! I've been using it for about 2 hours/day for 6 months without problems, still enjoy it til this day

I have this one with brown switches. Compared to a membrane non-rgb keyboard it will blow your mind. Compared to Cherry MX Brown the keys are wobblier (not really noticeable unless you are paying attention) but slightly quieter.

Blue switches will be loud and clicky if that's your thing.

I believe the keyboard can connect to 3 different devices at the same time, and I don't think it's hot swappable from the pictures and description - can confirm later today

Please confirm.

The description is "Connectivity technology: USB", so I'm confused about your comment regarding "connect to 3 different devices at the same time,"

I just ordered one to replace an ergonomic Logitech.
Freaking hate that thing.
I can't think of a single thing about typing on that which is comfortable
