Choose free store pickup if you have a location nearby. Just got a similar model, haven't used it yet, but the build is solid.

Looks like it went frontpage at this price back in October.

I have the C700 version of these, and they are all plagued with the same problems making them weak... the legs. The C700 wasn't as bad, but it took me several trips to different places to find a pair that wasn't defective.

When extended, if they are twisted at all (the black portion of the leg.) Then return it. Once any sort of load is placed upon then, the twisted leg portion will buckle, and boom. Down goes everything.

I've reached out to the company several times, and I never received a response.

The BORA has its own problems as well, but at least they respond to you (eventually).

I'm yet to find a good pair of manufactured saw horses that are collapsible. They all have some major flaw. The Toughbuilts also have some hardcore rusting issues since they just paint over they metals (they're supposedly powder coated, but it flakes off easily, and then rusts immediately.) So I highly recommend you lubricate them well. I use a dry lubricant so grease doesn't collect dirt/dust.

Good luck.
What kind of market are you imagining for your used plastic saw horses?
If you can go get them at Menards and do the rebate thing, their rebranded adjustable leg version is $38 AR: https://www.menards.com/main/tools/power-tool-accessories/tool-stands-saw-horses/masterforce-reg-adj... [menards.com]

I've checked the zoro links a couple times in the last week, and one of those times the $28 one was back in stock. So you may want to check back.

I know that was meant as a joke (I laughed) in response to the other SDer's comment. However, I live on a lake that has shallow water that extends way out from the shoreline before it eventually gets deep. So a lot of us DIYers here own plastic sawhorses that we can easily set up out in the shallow water when working on boats, jet skis, lifts, and docks. So they would probably sell around here. That being said, for most people elsewhere, I agree that it probably isn't worth the time it takes to list them for sale.

Has anyone bought one of these during the last deal and have a problem with these things scooting across your garage floor? There's no rubber or plastic feet to get a grip. Note my garage has a finished floor, so it might be slicker than regular concrete. I dont have this problem with the Kobalt ones.

There are several different models of these, some with rubber feet some without. You may be able to go to Menards to pick some feet up if your sawhorses don't have them.

The $28 price is for a single sawhorse.

I was wondering about this too, but I just picked up my order from tractor supply and it was a 2 pack. Now I have 4 of these things

I wonder if they accidentally gave you the wrong item.

It would be pretty surprising for a 2-pack to be $28 when Amazon lists both with the 1 pack being $37.99 and the 2-pack being $75.98. The pictures and description reflect what one might expect from the terms 1-pack and 2-pack also.

The Tractors Supply website also has a line saying "Package Quantity ... One Sawhorse"

Bought these a free years ago, but recently replaced them with bora speedhorses. More expensive, but the legs auto extend and retract, making setup and cleanup much faster.

Would also recommend a workbench or folding workbench first for the diyers as these are usually used to build a surface anyway.

The Bora are an excellent recommendation for an upgrade option, but keep in mind, they are over 3x the price, whereas these are plenty sufficient for the weekend warrior DIYer.

I couldnt find any plastic feet that would fit these saw horses. A friend of mine's brother owns a body shop and they spray bed liners in pickup trucks. I talked with him on Monday and he told me to bring it buy on Tuesday and he'll put the best feet on it that I can get. So I went on Tuesday, and they opened a barrel of that bed liner stuff they were about to spray a truck with. Dipped about 4" of the legs in the barrel several times. Now I cant even scoot these saw horses across the floor manually. It'll tip over before it scoots. This needs to be a standard for feet on these type of products.

That's a great tip. Others without such connections might want to try a tool handle dip like Pastidip, some liquid electrical tape, or "as seen on TV" rubber waterproofing...

I've got some extra Red Guard tile separation membrane around here somewhere that I might try on some bare metal feet.

Just wanted to mention that Menards has a lot of US made tools for those who care including drywall knives and some plumbing parts that Lowes and Home Depot don't carry.
