Cheapest price so far and a decent budget laptop. However, being 3000 series it lacks a lot of features from 5000 series. It doesn't have backlit keyboard, the Type-C port is just data only, meaning no 4k@60Hz and the Wi-Fi is not only wifi 5 but also in 1x1 configuration.

Can the wifi module be swapped for a better one? I've heard that sometimes that's blocked by the UEFI.

How would this be for indie/AA gaming and content creation?

Not good, especially for content creation as that requires a good quality display. For gaming, this integrated GPU is slightly less powerful than Nvidia MX350. So, if your games can be played with that GPU, they can be played here.

It's a powerful 6-core. If you have to ask, then your content creation probably doesn't need a 16-core mobile workstation.

As for gaming, Vega 7 graphics will be the likely bottleneck. Just depends on the game.

How does AMD compare to Intel CPU? In terms of reliability and heat. Intel has been superior for a long time, I have been using Intel all the time and not sure if things changes lately.

Not a backlit keyboard? At this price, that's a crime.

Get the Dell one, 120Hz screen, a stronger CPU, and a 512GB SSD. The trade off is 8GB of ram, which is easy to add another 8GB to become 16GB.

I bought the Dell one. Memory is cheap, it will be around 33 bucks for a 8gb from good brand like crucial
